Potemkin II

I remembered another movie reference-

During the staircase sequence, the man that had no legs-

I don't know if it was JUST because he had no legs, or the masses of people and grotesqueness of the situation, but I was very much reminded of the movie "FREAKS"

And the amputee may also hold special significance in this scene: consider for example the body parts of the "tsarist oppressors" that the camera keeps focusing on as they march down the stairs.
